On June 17, 2022, organizers with the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival hosted a community dinner at Freedom Plaza, followed by a memorial service near the Lincoln Memorial. Together, they gathered to remember and honor the lives lost to COVID-19 and the interlocking injustices that continue to claim lives across this nation.
